A few days ago, Alexander Krulik released version 1.7 of Magic Article Rewriter. It contains three new features: a combine article function, remove tokens mode, and a stop words list function. I’ve had a chance to play around with a couple of these functions, so let me explain a little what they do.
The combine article function is primarily aimed for users of the Unique Article Wizard article submission service. Basically, it allows you to take 2 or more related articles, and combine them together into one spin ready article. It merges by paragraphs, so if you want to combine two articles together, the first paragraph of the resulting article would look like {Article1-Paragraph1 | Article2-Paragraph1}. If you plan to make use of this feature, make sure that the number of paragraphs in each article match for best results. I see this function as being useful for Unique Article Wizard users who have already created their 3 articles for UAW submission, but would like to re-use them for other article submission services. By combining your articles together like this, your spun articles will be much more unique and you can generate many more article variations.
The second new feature of the new version is the remove tokens mode. To use this function, you click on the button in the toolbar and the software will go into a special selection mode. In this mode, whenever you select a spin token, for example {red|green|blue}, it will replace the token with the first variation. So in my example, the token would be replaced by ‘red’. This is especially useful for use with the Apply Tokens feature. There may be some tokens that you have in your database that don’t apply to the article you are currently working on and this remove tokens mode allows you to more easily delete the spin tokens that you don’t apply.
The last new function of Magic Article Rewriter is the stop word list function. I actually haven’t had a chance to use it yet, since it is for people who have bought the Magic Tokens Database addon. It is sort of like the remove tokens feature except it is a much less manual process. Basically, before you use the Apply Magic function, you can specify a stop word list, which is basically a list of words you don’t want to be converted into tokens. If you know beforehand that your article contains some niche specific words that aren’t in the Magic Tokens database, then you can insert them into your stop list and get a better resulting article.
All in all, Magic Article Rewriter 1.7 is a very good release and existing customers will be happy with the new features. As you can see, Alexandr is constantly updating his article spinning software to keep it ahead of the competition.
